NEIGHBOURHOOD PLANNING for
THE PLUMSTEADS
Setting Planning Policy for our Neighbourhood www.plumsteads.co.uk
Since the Autumn of 2013 we have been seeking the views of residents, community groups, associations and businesses about what to include in the Neighbourhood Plan for Great Plumstead, Little Plumstead and Thorpe End.
We have held a number of community consultation events in the Parish to find out views of local residents, community groups and organisations.
Your likes, dislkes about the three villages in the Plumstead Parish and your suggestions of how the villages could become even better places to live.
A big thank you to everyone who has attended and shared their views at our various consultation events and drop-in sessions at Great Plumstead Village Hall, Little Plumstead Primary School and St.David's Church Hall in Thorpe End.
.. and thanks to everyone who visited our stand at the May Day Fayre - the weather was kind to us and it was great to see some new faces coming to chat with us about the Neigbourhood Plan.
Our event at The Octagon Barn in Little Plumstead where we were joined by our local MP, Keith Simpson..........
About Us
We are a group formed from local residents who are concerned about the future of the local planning policy in our neighbourhood area. We aim to shape the local plan to accommodate growth and expansion of the parish, along with tight guidelines to shape village life for all concerned.
Although separate from the Great and Little Plumstead Parish Council, we are governed and regulated by them and adhere to their policies.
Working closely as a team our aims are simple, to guide the future growth and development of our neighbourhood area.
See the [Documents] page for the Terms of Reference and membership of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group.
The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group has regular open meetings at St. David's Church Hall in Thorpe End - if you would like to know future dates please contact the Clerk to Plumstead Parish Council.
As members of Gt and Little Plumstead Parish (inc Thorpe End) we are governed by the local parish council
